<COM OPENS>

[Participants: Ryquo-44 (RYQ-44), Ryquo-31 (RYQ-31 (COM))]

RYQ-31 (COM): "Forty Four?"

RYQ-44: "Thirty One. Do me a favor; look up a personnel file for me; Hylandra Tez."

RYQ-31 (COM): "Hylandra Tez... -*muffled keypad tapping*- Looking..."

[...]

RYQ-31 (COM): "I assume you want clarification of the memetic filters?"

RYQ-44: "Mhm. Search further into the file, under 'Current Assignment'."

RYQ-31 (COM): -*muffled keypad tapping*- "Hylandra Tez... Current assignment... 'Error, memetic filters in place'."

RYQ-44: "Great... Wonderful... Hak- Rrrgh... Is Hylandra currently aboard the Venturelust?"

RYQ-31 (COM): "Checking... She is... On board. I assume you want to speak with her directly?"

RYQ-44: "Indeed... Send her my way."

RYQ-31 (COM): "I'll send her an alert."

RYQ-44: "Cheers."

<COM ENDS>

*A KNOCK ON THE DOOR, TWENTY MINUTES LATER...*

RYQ: "Come in..."

*-DOOR OPENS- HYLANDRA STANDS IN THE DOORFRAME, HOLDING A SMIRK...*

HYA: "Hiya Hon~"

RYQ: "Please, spare me..."

HYA: "How could I possibly? You're my favorite!" -*Snickering*-

RYQ: "Care to explain why your file is blocking information from me?"

HYA: "Oh? Is it now?"

RYQ: "Hyla..."

*HYLANDRA SMUGLY WALTZES INTO THE OFFICE...*

HYA: "I'm only playing around~! Lighten up a little, Ryquo~"

RYQ: "...You are the only soul on this ship- in this institution-! That talks to me like this."

HYA: "Because you're my favorite~ But- There'll be time for that later. What do you want to know about *your* favorite Pureblood~?"

RYQ: "Just tell me why your damned file is giving me memetic error messages..."

HYA: "Aw... That's no fun."

*HYLANDRA BRIEFLY POUTED BEFORE ALLOWING HER PLAYFUL EXPRESSION TO RETURN. SHE WALTZED OVER TO RYQUO, AND SAT ON THE ARM OF HIS CHAIR...*

RYQ: "These quarters are monitored, Hyla..."

*HYLANDRA GRINNED, PUTTING AN ARM AROUND RYQUO'S SHOULDERS.*

HYA: -*Through suppressed, playful laughter*- "Good~!"

RYQ: "Ia'Luvona... Please... I am trying to work, not-"

HYA: "You need a vacation, Ia'Luvona~"

*HYLANDRA CLICKS HER TONGUE...*
